Description
Generics:
Glycerin + Hypromellose + Polyethylene glycol + Tetrahydrozoline + Zinc Sulfate
Dosage Form: Tablet.
Indications:
Zinc sulphate eye drops are used for the treatment, control, prevention and improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
- for eyes and ear WASH
- Skin infection
Pharmacology:
This is a preparation of Glycerin, Hypromellose, Polyethylene glycol 400, Tetrahydrozoline Hydrochloride & Zinc Sulfate. Glycerin restores moisture to the dry eye. Hypromellose acts as a artificial tear in the treatment of dehydration of the cornea and conjunctiva. Polyethylene glycol 400 increases the stability of tear film. Tetrahydrozoline Hydrochloride reduces the redness of eye. Zinc Sulfate is used as an astringent agent.
Dosage guideline:
Three/ four times in daily.
The usual dose is 1 or 2 drops placed in each eye three or four times daily. If there is no improvement see your doctor
Route of administration: Intraocular.
Interaction:
If you use other drugs or bar products at the same time, the effects of zinc sulphate eye drops can change. This can increase your risk of side effects or make your medicine does not work properly. Tell your doctor of all herbal medications, vitamins and supplements that you use, so you can help you avoid or manage drug interactions. The eye drops of zinc sulphate can interact with the following drugs and products: heparin, iron salts, norfloxacin, penicillamine, sodium selection edetate, tetracycline.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in individuals who have shown a hypersensitivity to any elements of this eye drop.
Side Effects:
Blurred vision or slight stinging sensation may occur.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
It has not been shown to cause birth defects or other problems in humans.
Precautions & Warnings:
Keep all medicines out of the children’s reach. Should be dispensed only on the prescription of a registered physician. Close the bottle immediately after use. Do not use for longer than one month after opening the bottle.

Storage Conditions:
Store at 20° to 25°C temperature. Keep in a dry place, away from light and heat. Keep out of the reach of children.
